You know those September days where you wake up and check the weather to see a lower high temperature than what you’re used to? Your autumn brain starts chanting “sweater weather” over and over again, even though you know that 67 degrees doesn’t really call for sweaters. Alas, you pull one on anyway because you have a 9 AM and don’t want to walk to class all freezing like.
You go throughout your day, steadily warming up, until 2 PM hits and you’re SWEATING. You check the temperature again only to see that it’s about 5-10 degrees warmer than what you thought it was going to be today. Frickin’ transitional weather.
There’s no great way to dress for these types of days, except for layers. I don’t know about you, but I’m not a huge fan of carrying around extra layers after I shed them throughout the day, so I always try to find a way around the situation. A practice that I find to work quite well is long sleeves + a skirt. For some odd reason, my legs don’t get near as cold as my arms do, so by the end of the day, all I have to do is push up my sleeves and I am good. to. go!
Anyway, the outfit that I’m sharing with you today is a rendition of that outfit! This denim skirt might be a bit short, but you can always pair it with some tights for the cooler days!
