There are many things that sound great in theory, but are a little bit of a stretch in practice: clear boots, the Twilight saga, and the unicorn frappuccino (#NotWorthIt). Amongst these items is the sleeveless sweater. I’d like to imagine what the conversation in the drawing room was when this trend was invented:
“Alright, guys. We need to invent a new trend, now. Does anyone have any ideas?”
“Already invented. Next.”
“What about a dress that’s blue and black in one light, and white and gold in another?”
“We don’t want to break the internet, folks! Sarah, do you have anything?”
*Sarah scrambles around with her various sketches* “Um…a sleeveless…sweater?”
Thank you for taking a journey inside my imagination with me. The exit is located on your right, but don’t forget to stop by the souvenir shop on your way out!
Okay, this post has gotten a bit too wild and it’s time to get back on track. Sleeveless sweaters are a trend that I really like the idea of, and I think they’re a great piece to have during season transitions. This particular sleeveless sweater is quite possibly the cheapest piece of clothing I own (6 GBP at Primark heck yes!), but I get more compliments on it than I do anything else. Like, compliment me on my expensive clothes, friends, not my cheap ones!
The way I typically choose to style this special top is with a pair of jeans (typically boyfriend), sneaks, and a denim jacket. However, since it’s peak springtime right now, I decided to style it a *bit* differently. The idea is still the same, though! We’re talking distressed skinny jeans, gold pendant necklace, gold sandals, and some statement sunnies. It’s the perfect look for a warmer spring day!
