I love photos. They capture a moment in your life that will never happen again, and I think that’s rad. Since we’re living in 2017 and technology is pretty advanced, we have the ability to take photos literally whenever we want. On a given day, with the touch of a button on our smartphones, we can take a picture and see it immediately afterwards. No more waiting to get film developed in hopes that your photos turned out well because we can view them right away.
The only bad thing about a completely digital format is that it takes away from some of the nostalgia. How many of you love looking through old family photos? You know the ones I’m talking about: the grainy, off-color photographs of the 1990’s. There’s a certain feeling you get looking through those physical copies that you don’t get when you look at digital ones. That’s why I wish that each phone had a built in printer with unlimited ink + photo paper + also not very bulky.
However, since technology hasn’t quite advanced that far, we still have to order photos to get printed. Enter Printiki. Printiki is a service that prints any photo you want! You can get them in 4×4 square prints, polaroids, books and posters. You even have the option to add captions to the polaroids! When Printiki reached out to me, I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity and print some photos that I love! Obviously I had to include my best friend, family members, and my beloved cats!
I’m pretty impressed with the ways the photos turned out. Most of them were taken with an iPhone and I wasn’t sure how the quality would be, but none of them are too grainy! They’re pretty much all the same quality as they appear on my phone, so that is definitely a point in their favor.
The best part about photos this size is that you can easily put them in an album, put them on your wall, or do one of those crafty clothespin displays. Since I am not the craftiest person, I opted for the “tape them to your wall” option. Y’all, this is just the start – I still have like 15 more photos to put up!
Printiki’s interface is also extremely easy to use! It walks you through the process step by step and allows you to upload multiple photos at a time. An extra plus – you can upload photos from Instagram and Facebook! How easy is that?
Y’all know that I am very honest with you, and you can bet that this review is 100% my opinion. I will most likely order from Printiki again because of how much I loved the result. If you don’t feel like taking my word for it, check out their Instagram to see more people’s photos!
How do you capture and keep your photos? Would you ever consider using Printiki? Let me know in the comments!
