Remember when we were younger and we picked out our dresses based on how sparkly they were and if they were good to spin in? Those were the good ol’ days. Now we have to worry about whether they’re “age appropriate” or if we’d be able to wear them to work. What if I told you I found a dress that covers all the bases? Yeah, you got that right. I found the perfect dress for fall.
I’m not ashamed to admit that whenever I try on a looser fitting dress, I still test to see how well they spin, and friends, this dress did not disappoint! Sure, it doesn’t spin quite as well as the uber glittery dress I would wear for a Christmas concert in elementary school, but it does have a great amount of swing to it.
This dress is also fun in that it features floral embroidery over a sheer shoulder panel and it has tiers of ruffles on the sleeves. Also, it is actually pretty modest length-wise, which makes it a great dress for work OR play!
Note: I actually didn’t edit the warmth or color balance in these photos. They were taken on Labor day when the sky was legit a hazy orange due to the wildfires out west. My thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by any of the natural disasters we’ve dealt with the past few weeks.
