September is here! You know what that means, right? FALL!
Just kidding, fall doesn’t start for a few weeks yet. September being here means that August is finished. Gone. Done-zo. And honestly, I’m glad. To be as transparent as possible, August was kind of an emotionally tolling month. I had a lot of stressors on my plate and I have been struggling to keep my mind at bay. Luckily, I was able to spend Labor Day weekend with my parents and that helped me to get grounded again.
On the bright side, August brought the start of my very last semester of school! I’m finishing my college career with 12 credits (one of those classes happening to be all about wine tasting!), and I’m starting to get back into the gym a few times a week. I started a cycling class that I’ve been all about!
Other notable events: dyeing my hair back to brown, redecorating my apartment bedroom, and quitting my part time job to focus on school!
Still reading Second Life! It’s a good book, and I would’ve finished it by now, but I don’t have a whole lot of extra time now that school started!
I’ve still been trying to get into a good podcast, but I haven’t found any that I’ve really clicked with yet! I’m still a huge fan of Rosecast for all things Bachelor Nation, though! If you have any podcasts that you love to listen to, I’d love to get recommendations! I’m a big fan of comedy in relation to pop culture, current events/politics, or crime!
My mom introduced me to this Irish folk band called The High Kings! They’re by no means a new band or anything, but they have amazing music! It’s very soothing and nice to listen to!
Of course, I have to mention Look What You Made Me Do by T-Swizzle. I’m honestly not a huge fan of her or her new song, but her marketing and video were admittedly very good. I find myself singing along to the song sometimes, though!
I hopped on the Bachelor In Paradise bandwagon, and I’m kind of loving it! It’s messy, dysfunctional, and wonderful! Although I do have to say, Dean is no longer my favorite person! He’s being a huge jerk to Kristina, and I can’t believe D-Lo is going along with it. I was a bit surprised to see Tickle Monster back, but I’m honestly not mad at it.
