Okay, before you say anything – I know I posted a light pink and black look last week, and I didn’t mean to do it again this week, but sometimes life just insists upon lots of pink.
Even though I wear jeans and t-shirts most of the week, I am a HUGE fan of formal occasion attire. It makes you feel like a million bucks, you can have more fun with it, and it’s the one time where it’s socially acceptable to be covered in glitter.
While all the pieces in this particular holiday look are amazing in their own way, I am currently quite partial to these boots. I got them to wear for graduation (only two weeks away from today, omg), and I am in LOVE with the glitter heel. Since I don’t want to show you guys my dress quite yet (don’t worry, you’ll see it soon!), I decided to pair it with this wonderfully ballerina-esque skirt. The top you see here is actually a romper, but I thought it would look perfect with the other two pieces.
This look is especially fun because of the twirlability. And yes, I did just make that word up. Come at me, Webster Dictionary. Anyway, this skirt gets super full when you spin it, making it perfect for a glam holiday occasion.
What I’m Wearing
Romper Miss Selfridge // Skirt via Target // Boots Guess // Choker via Target
Also, because I’m inspired by these beautiful boots, I want to share some more totally awesome boots with you guys! Both short and tall, these are perfect for any holiday party or when you feel like being a little more glam than usual! Sadly, I can’t find the exact link for these boots since I got them at an outlet store, but hopefully you’ll love one of the others!
