My 5 Favorite Online Fashion Retailers

My 5 Favorite Online Retailers

It’s no secret that I love shopping. I don’t even have to buy anything, I just like going to the mall and window shopping or browsing the internet for things that I wish I had in my closet. Since I live in the state of Iowa, I often find myself looking for clothes online. Sorry, Iowa, I like you and all, but your clothing selection just isn’t that great. That being said, I’ve come across a lot of online retailers, and have definitely picked out my favorites – 5 of which I’ll be sharing with you today!

My 5 Favorite Online Retailers

If you haven’t heard of ASOS yet, go check it out right now! It’s okay, I’ll wait right here until you’re back. Have you gotten the chance to look around the website a little bit? Great! I love ASOS because of the variety of the products they sell. Not only do they have things for everyone’s style preference, they carry special sizes (petite, tall, maternity, plus), and they have products at every price point! If you’re a little wary of the fact that they’re based overseas, worry not, for they have FREE SHIPPING for orders over $40, and FREE RETURNS for each order, no matter how much it was! ASOS truly holds the key to my heart.

If you’ve got a little more money to spend, definitely check out REVOLVEThis retailer carries a bunch of really well-known, high-quality brands that are sure to make a statement. Like I mentioned, REVOLVE tends to be a tad bit pricier, but you can still find quite a lot for under $100. Another perk: FREE SHIPPING AND RETURNS! If you can’t tell, I really like free shipping.

3. Nasty Gal

I’m sure you’ve all heard of the #Girlboss movement by founder of Nasty Gal, Sophia Amoruso. I’m currently reading her book, and it’s fantastic! Anyway, back to the brand. If your style is a little on the edgy side, then this is the perfect retailer for you! Nasty Gal carries a number of different brands, including their private label. Many of the prices range between $30 and $100, with outliers on either side. Plus, there’s free shipping on orders over $75!

4. ModCloth

In contrast to the previous online retailers, ModCloth caters towards a more classically feminine target market. They were among the first retailers to make the oath not to photoshop their models to appear skinnier, plus they have a private label that includes sizes XS to 4X, so everyone will be able to find clothes that fit them. They also have a new wedding line for both the bride and her bridesmaids! And if you were wondering about shipping, it’s free for orders over $75!

Amazon-owned retailer, Shopbop.comis a great place to shop if you have a higher budget! They sell a slew of designer brands like alice + olivia and slightly more affordable brands like Free People. Because they’re owned by Amazon, they have free 3-day shipping and free returns, and they also take part in Amazon Prime. is a great way to get designer brands right to your door!

And that concludes the list of my favorite online retailers! Did I miss any of your favorites? let me know in the comments!

    1. Thanks Camila! 🙂

  2. I find that I shop online a lot. I would love to be able to go into a store and find things that I love and that fit! I am so petite that I simply cannot find anything that fits me that isn’t a child’s size! I find that some stores that I like have petite sizes but often they don’t carry them in their stores. The Limited has a good selection that I like but their petites are only available online. Another one of my favorites is Talbots. Both of these are mostly for “work clothes”. If I’m in the mood for something really different I also like Anthropologie. I’ve shopped on Modcloth and I really do like them as well. I’ll have to take a look at the others you mentioned.

    1. I know the struggle well! More stores should cater towards petite women!

  3. awesome picks! I love ASOS and Shopbop so much! Shop there all the time 🙂 My other favorites are all beauty retailers – Petal and Post, Beautyhabit, The Detox Market 😀

    1. Nordstrom is great! The only reason I didn’t include them was because they also have brick-and-mortar stores, but they’re definitely among the best!

  6. Some of my fave UK bloggers are obsessed with ASOS and Revolve! I’ve really wanted to try them but I find I fit different in every brand so I’ve been taking a break from online shopping because I’m sick of returning things. I really like the sound of Modcloth, I think I’ve seen that name before. Will be checking these out soon!

  11. My favorite thing to do is go to an online retailer, fill up my cart with everything I like, cringe at the total, and then close the window. LOL.
