What clothing do you envision when I say the word “boho” to you? Probably suede, earth tones, intricate patterns, and other things of that nature. Basically a throwback to the Summer of ’69! While I appreciate that style and would totally rock it if I had the chance to travel back to the 1960’s, it’s not my most favorite trend in the world.
That being said, I do love many of the elements encompassed underneath the very large boho umbrella. Think neutral colors and floral embroidery. That’s why I was very excited to find a floral embroidered chambray skirt. It was light, fun, and fit right in with the rest of my wardrobe. I wanted to continue the boho-esque look into the rest of my outfit, so I opted for a white blouse with subtle bell sleeves.
This would be a great outfit to wear to work, on a date, or to brunch with friends!
Also, let it be known that I have no idea what to do with my hands during these shoots. Seriously, so many of the bloopers were me staring at my hands, willing them to position themselves in a high fashion manner. Sadly, the staring did not work, so I apologize for any awkward hands you may see in these photos!
