Over the weekend I moved into my first official apartment of my college career. I stayed in one when I studied in London, but since that was only for 8 weeks I don’t really count that. This year me and my best friend (Camila) were able to get an apartment along with two other people and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I’ve wanted to live in an apartment for so long, so it’s nice to finally be in one!
We all share a living room, bathroom, and kitchen, but we each have our own bedroom. My decorating style is basically black and white everything with a touch of gold, and that definitely shows through my bedroom decor.
Before moving in, I was slightly concerned about how much space I would have in my room. I’ve seen other people’s apartments in this complex and I could not visualize how all my stuff would fit. Upon getting here, I realized I had more space than I initially thought! In the words of Stepbrothers, “There’s so much more room for activities!”
You can probably tell by the photos, but I am a wall decor fiend. The more my walls are covered, the better – especially when they’re a not-so-lovely shade of “Department of Residence White”.
Honestly, this is probably the cleanest my room will be all year. Despite how hard I try to keep things neat, I’m naturally a bit cluttered.
So that’s my room! Now you know where all the magic behind the blog happens! If you have any questions about where anything is from, just ask and I will answer!
