You guys have hung around here enough to know that I’m not one for bright colors or psychedelic prints (although I would wear them if I could travel back in time to 1969 because hippie culture is rad). Instead, I typically rely on little things to make the outfit more special: a pair of sunglasses, a little bit of sparkle, a cool choker, etc.
This outfit in particular has a lot of these little details built in. From the little bows and shoulder cut outs on the sleeve to the bling on the shoes, this look is the epitome of subtle femininity (omg that rhymed). As I’m writing this post, I realize that the top, jeans, and shoes are all from Kohl’s! So not only are they cute, but they’re super accessible and affordable. Being a college girl, that’s something I care about a lot!
Also take note of the bracelet I’m wearing! My mom’s best friend’s parents made some bracelets from old spoons. This particular bracelet has an “H” engraved in it, and my last name starts with an “H”, so they gave one to both me and my mom. It was a crazy coincidence because no one in their family had that as a last initial, so we thought it was simply meant to be!
